The Ideal Ordinary Week (April 30)

Hey friends,

This week I would like to talk to you about the Ideal Ordinary week which is a strategy to help you realise what to do with your life (I think). You log onto your calendar and go 5 years in the future (I find that's just far enough that your not exactly sure what you'll be getting up to for certain and short enough so that you aren't living in dreamland) and you set out your ideal week where you block out what you're doing for the whole week. However, this is also an ordinary week so you are not going on holiday or lying in bed all day. If you have school or work then that's fine just block out what you are doing in other hours.

I think this is useful because it helps you to see are you taking the necessary steps to achieve your ideal week and if you aren't it will give you a chance to evaluate. This combined with The Odyssey Plan is an excellent combination to figure out where you're going, where you want to go and how to get there. I hope you find this helpful.

Have a great week!

Conor

❤️ My Favourite Things This Week

  1. Family tree - This week a friend assisted me in tracing my ancestors and it has been a rather interesting and very enjoyable experience.
  2. Ballyhass - This week the school went to Ballyhass as part of a wellness trip. It was my first time undertaking certain activities and it was really enjoyable.
  3. Le Chéile Day - This week we had Le Chéile Day in our school which was delightful and my first time. It is where instead of our normal timetable we get to choose our own activities for the day and have events such as a concert 6th years v teachers tug of war as well as 6th years v teachers soccer.
